Current and Wave Measurements in the Chesapeake BayH. H. (Eddie) ShihStatus: Accepted
Co-Authors: The NOAA National Ocean Service operates and maintains the Physical Oceanographic
Real-Time System (PORTS®) in the Nation's major ports, harbors and
bays. Environmental parameters, such as water levels, currents and a host
of other hydrological and meteorological variables are monitored in real-time.
Waves are also becoming increasingly important to the PORTS® users.
Other users, such as those involved in marsh restoration projects, also
require these data. Submitted on October 24, 2002 |
